Why adopt a shelter pet

Shelters have all shapes and sizes of lovable mutts, purebreds, all-American cats, shaggy dogs, pupples, kittens, teenagers and oldsters. Your chances of finding a wonderful companion who matches your lifestyle, family, and home are excellent!

How to help

There are many ways for you to get involved besides adopting an animal. You can volunteer, or donate your time, money and/or services. We also have a wish list of items that are needed (see Help Warm above). Please remember, donations ARE tax deductible.

handicapped? Nonsense -- Life is great

Pip was born with no front legs. His parents belonged to a private breeder and because of his affliction, was scheduled to be euthanized. Hating to see the pup euthanized, a neighbor called WARM and WARM took him in.

As Julie Finlayson, the Director of WARM, states in the video — Pip doesn’t know there is anything wrong with him. He runs and plays with the other small dogs at WARM and is just a happy, healthy little dog. Pip loves everyone he meets and everyone who meets Pip falls in love with him.

Pip is happy the way he is, but we plan on making Pip even happier. As soon as we can hold him still long enough (he is such a bundle of energy) to get measurements and raise the money, we are going to fit Pip with a pair of Eddie’s Wheels. (Please check out these wheels at www.eddieswheels.com). If you would like to donate towards Pip’s wheels, you can use PayPal on this website and specify that it is for Pip or send a check to WARM at P. O. Box 1764, Conway, SC 29528 and again, noting that it is for Pip.

So, check back periodically, we’ll post a new video when Pip gets his wheels.
